Owner and Occupational Therapist
Deirdre Donnelly has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) as well as a degree in Occupational Therapy. She formed Pinnacle Rehab Staffing, LLC as a unique recruitment company in 2009 after being an Occupational Therapist for over 10 years and doing physical therapy travel jobs for 5 years. Deirdre was born and raised in Connecticut, where one of our offices is located, and now lives permanently down in Florida, where our other office is located.
Knowledge and Experience
Deirdre has been a successful rehabilitation department manager for multiple start-up rehab departments in Connecticut and has assisted through multiple transition periods. She has attained advanced knowledge and skills in several specialty areas of therapy and has provided lectures and demonstrations to numerous colleagues. She has attained a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Healthcare Administration and continued on to attain an advanced education in business systems and administrative technology. She has been a consistently active member of the WISE Business Expansion Club as well as an officer of the business club and is a licensed business consultant.
Understanding Challenges
Through her experience in working for multiple companies, Deirdre has gained valuable knowledge about the various systems and employers and has developed invaluable communication lines. She knows firsthand the challenges faced, from the viewpoint of the therapists and from the perspective of a healthcare employer, and so is the ideal individual to assist and negotiate between employers and potential employees. Her philosophy is that success and prosperity is most easily achieved by individuals and organizations when all vectors are aligned.
